This is the archaeological part of the project, which involved removing the top soil layer down to bed rock and carefully removing any remains found buried. A brief narrative is provided against each photograph, describing what is occuring. The date that the photograph was taken is displayed above each photo (when clicked upon).
Now that the archaeological part of the project has been completed, there is a second page which contains further photographs of the archaeologists at work. WARNING - This webpage contains images some viewers may find disturbing. The page can be accessed by clicking this link.
UPDATE: This page has now been updated with the ceremony for the re-internment of the remains, held in the graveyard in Coach Lane.
