Hi,

I was very pleased to get a phone call from Jo, the owner of The Market Restaurant in Faringdon, who informed me that she had sold one of my prints that had been hanging up in her restaurant. Very pleased - now I need to find an alternative to replace it.

The picture in question is called 'Trunk Call' and is of a red telephone box sitting in amongst a lot of green bushes and is the first picture in the 'Weird and Wonderful' section of this website (numbered W01). It has an interesting story - I was staying in a holiday house and the phone box was in a small lane by the side of the building. Long ago it had been disconnected and Mother Nature had slowly started to reclaim the box as hers. It was nigh on impossible to work out where the garden finished and the lane began ! I loved it as soon as I saw it and the end result photograph is one of my favorites.

The Market Restaurant is an excellent place for meeting and eating right in the centre of Faringdon. Their website can be found at http://www.marketrestaurant.talktalk.net/.
